Best Coilovers for NA Mx5!!
Hi guys I have been looking for coilovers and now decided that I might as well buy brand new. I don't wanna spend like 1500 - 2000$$$. But i have been looking at Yellowspeeds and DD coilovers. Which are 1090. Teins are 1200-1300. What are the best options?
Note my Na Mx5 is a daily driver and is only for street use. What are my options as I want reliability, look, performance. Cheers guys.

Either pay more, or put up with one or more of those qualities being nonexistent. Under $1200 will get you Yellowspeeds or something equivalent. Not comfortable, built only to drop the car. There's BCs too which are apparently pretty decent for the ~$1250 they cost, beyond that you're not going to find brand new coilovers at the price you want with the qualities you've listed.

Try BC generics.
I'm running Largus from Japan which comes out of the same factory as BC. 32 way adjustable, 10kg/mm F and 8kg/mm R. Was around $700 plus delivery a year ago.
No problems with fitment. Have had Cusco and H&R in the past for other cars and these are better.
Megan Racing is the same thing @$900 on e bay plus delivery.

BC gets my vote... a few WTAC cars (open class podium...) were running these so I guess it shows the potential

Would guys know an Australia supplier because shipping is ridiculously expensive and is eye watering.

Just Jap sell them (www.justjap.com), they are normally pretty good with shipping.
Yeh I think BC are good quality for the price, MCA who sell some pretty nice shocks base some of their shocks like the Red's off a BC Housing.

If you build to a small budget it will always be a compromise. Reliability, performance and looks come at a price.
Have you considered a decent alignment, replacing bushes etc as an alternative to 'low price' coilovers. For the record I have BC ER's and will be swapping probably next year to maybe MCA's.

Re: Best Coilovers for NA Mx5!!
No issues with the BC's however did snap off the front and still need tone repaired. The fronts were replaced with a set from Pedders, surprise made at the same factory ad BC's.
Quite a few cars at time attack run BC's si they can't be too bad?
Again, go an alignment whilst you decide.
