Plug gap advice please

The plugs I use have twistable terminal nuts and fit Toyota COP's.

It's quite clear that plugs with removable terminal nuts are still available whether it's the correct heat range or suitable needs to be verified. In the old days some of us dinosaurs will remember actually removing the nuts to fit plug leads and refit nuts. Most leads now use insulated connectors even on basic equipment.

Bosch 7956 std cooper plugs removable cap as well $1.80, 10 would cost $53 delivered

I don't buy plugs in Australia, takes 5 to 7 days from Rockauto, and my plugs (autolite) work out to less for 12 than a set here(denso or Ngks)

Pulled a plug out of my SE

NGK Iridiums BKR5EIX-11

I have 167HP so based on their rule of thumb I should be looking at BKR6E, BKR7E if I was making decent power (as per Dann's suggestion).

My car is almost at 40,000 kms and the plugs look really good so i'd be happy putting BKR5EIX-11 in but I think try one step cooler.

The BKR5EIX-11 I removed from the car don't have a removable terminal nut.
