It's a long story. Go to the Arlington Mazda website to find the part number, key that number into Amayama to get a local price, then email them for a shipping quote, then ...

Funnily enough that's just what I ended up doing. Thought there was a link to a parts catalogue document online somewhere which people used.

Sent off the quote for NA0232240.

Hopefully that is this debacle solved. Thanks everyone for the help. :D

All of the NA/NB Mazda factory parts catalogs are at http://www.miata.net/garage/90-99Parts/ but they're not 100% reliable. Those are LHD catalogs. They were also correct at the time of production but many have since been superseded.
