Actually it's not.

All relative to high/low tide mark in any individuals wallet.

For you it might "seem" expensive.

For someone who could only previously buy from Honda spares at a much inflated cost - that price is cheap.

Of course, you could be referring to it as "expensive when there are other products that do the job just as well but are cheaper". Once again you would be correct from your point of view with what YOU are satisfied using and paying for.

From someone who has bought and uses Shin-Etsu - I won't use anything else even at the inflated price I paid for a tube 4 years or so ago (with 90% still available) and if I was in the market to re-stock I would say:-

it's cheap
