Changing mufflers

Postby ockyy » Fri May 29, 2015 5:20 pm

Hey guys, does anyone know if you can change the muffler from a 2011 model to the new outcoming model? I know it's silly, but mine's a bit sentimental

Until the new model comes out and people can see how close the mounts are to one another it's impossible to say.

Most likely thye'll not line up at all, and to fit the muffler you'd need to basically cut it into pieces and have it welded back together into an arrangement that will fit.

Since the ND is an all new body, I doubt it very much.

Question is, why would you want to?

This would be the reason.

Which I can understand, there are parts of my car that have been gifts etc.

Thankyou. I had read that the wrong way around.
Thought he wanted the nd muffler on his car.

Nothing an exhaust place couldn't handle. Just depends how sentimental you are to cutting if required.
Wait and see I guess.
