Then change your add to include this very valid point, I did not even consider it when I looked.
Example:
2008 Mazda MX-5 NC with Power Retractable Hard Top

I'm interested to know how long it took you guys to sell your MX-5 after advertising it for sale (carsales, forum or elsewhere). What model was it?
The reason I ask is that I've had my NC1 PRHT for sale for nearly 2 weeks and while I didn't expect to sell it by now, I did expect to have an enquiry or 2, but so far nothing! I feel it is reasonably priced and in a great condition, but maybe I am just used to more 'typical' cars that have a larger buying market.
Cheers.

There's always going to be some variables.
I was looking for an NC1 from December through to April, so I saw a lot of cars across all states.
This won't fill you with confidence, but a Highland Green 1997 NC1 PRHT on the North Coast of NSW started at 22K.
It finally dropped off the market around 16K about 2 months later. I presume it was sold. Or the owner drove it off a cliff, in frustration.
And did it sell for 16K or did it go for even less? All I know was 16K was the last asking price I saw on it.
Why didn't I buy it? Simple. I didn't want a Highland Green. I wanted a Copper Red.
It can be as simple as that. There could be people looking at your car, right now, saying, "Man, I'd buy that, but I want... (insert colour)."
From what I saw in my search for an NC1, prepare for 1-3 months unless you drop it to some crazy price.
