Then I installed an Extreme brand clutch kit. Had the flywheel machined too.
Seemed ok, did 2 x track days and a skid pad day. Then 5 laps at Sandown before the clutch died.
This time the friction material was more intact, and the tin centre piece had torn itself apart. Separating the inner portion from the outer portion. There are no heat marks on the pressure plate or flywheel.
When I first started (a few years ago) I used to put it in the wrong gear accidentally, and do some dumb shyt. Never had an issue even with a turbo.
