An update on the oil pressure gauge issue.

I received and installed the replacement sender today and everything is now working normally again, YEAH!

It's a bit of a relief as the old sender had progressed to showing 70PSI with the engine off so the gauge was constantly showing 100PSI+ while driving...... Even when you know it's a false indication it's still a bit un-nerving..... :|

Good news for you, a bit of feedback on my Innovate oil pressure is that it was reading 10 PSI lower than it should have been. I'm yet to check the oil temp but since the water temp was showing 10° HOTTER than the Haltech sensor I suspect the oil temp to be the same. I'll be checking this out on the weekend.

About the only thing sadder than a Garage thread that's gone quiet is one that's lost all of it's pictures...... :(

Going to have to do something about this.....

Yep, no pictures, no good! What happened?

Also, it is too quiet in here, you should mod something .... how about the ECU?

It's so quiet in here that I think we could handle an ECU AND turbo upgrade
:D
NA6 turbo - 140kw atw - not the most powerful but so much fun :D

btw trying to look at a work around to automatically recover your broken images, just been working away and playing catch up.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.

I was actually referring to something other than the broken images problem but it would be great if there was some way to recover the pictures in the thread!

I'll wait and see how you go with it mate, if it doesn't pan out I'll do something else to put some pics back in here......

So, I went out and bought these on the weekend.

Image

With thoughts of doing something like this.....

Image

However by the time I got home from getting some new tyres put on*, I changed my mind and decided to give Selene's sister some new shoes instead!
* Khumo KU31, found someone who still has stock @ $115 each fitted! They still have more too....

Image

I'm quite happy with the result overall but need to resist the urge to lower the car now for a better 'look'. :?

Surprisingly the new rims + tyres are actually 1.6Kg heavier per corner than the old 14" steel rims, despite being alloy!

You'll have to name her "Cecilia"

Definitely needs a stop though ;)

What a tease! I call shenanigans for posting a non mx5 update in your build thread.

That said I did purchase something Shiney for my MX5 that I think you would approve, until I work out how to mount it off Centre. ..
