Fuel Filter and flexible hoses
Just been informed that a fuel filter and associated flexible hose are no longer available from Mazda (Bradstreet Motors) for my 2000 NBA. Can anyone suggest where I can obtain?

Re: Fuel Filter and flexible hoses
Fuel filters should be available, thye may have to order it in, but it should be available. I only purchased one from Mazda last year or so.
Alternatively, go to Bursons and ask, they won't have genuine Mazda ones, but it's not important in this case.
As for the hoses, unless yours are damaged you can reuse them, the NB filters have a strange quick clip fitting rather than the more normal barb and clamp on the NA.
You can buy fuel hose from pretty much any car shop (autobarn/supercheap/etc), otherwise try Clark rubber, Enzed, Pirtek, etc.
Bear in mind, with those options you'll still need to put the quick-fitting onto the new hose. (personally I'd consider buying an NA fuel filter and discarding the fragile quick-clips. There is absolutely no problem with the normal barbed fitting and worm clamp)

Re: Fuel Filter and flexible hoses
I was told 12 months ago, by 2 Mazda spares departments, that they are a discontinued item, & will be unavailable when stocks run out.
Genuine Mazda filter is cheaper from MX5 Parts UK anyway!
Cheers
