Installed a AEM UEGO Gauge with a PNP MS2 plugged in to factory harness and nothing on the DB37 side.
Getting AFRs on the gauge but no signal on the Tunerstudio AFR

File>Project>Project Properties-> choose wideband
Tools>Calibrate AFR table-> Choose your wideband type. Click Burn.

I'll try tomorrow, noticed my wideband model is 30-4110 and the other options for AEMs are different product codes.

Got a DB37 adapter to splice into the Wide band output. Should work.

So, interesting reading.
I sat here and read this thread last night. I'm thinking it's time to embark on putting a MS2 in my Rotrex SC NA8 which was done by Bullet Cars. I've always had in the back of my mind that the EXede processor that is installed isn't the most elegant solution. I'm hoping I might get a flatter torque curve than the exede has managed to do, I'm also a little concerned about AFR's with the exede, not sure how "safe" the current tune is, as it is an expensive "built" engine I don't want to stuff it due to second rate ECU and tune.
Building an electronic kit will be easy for me so no problems there. Being an electrician/technician I'm a little concerned that a 37way D plug might not be terribly reliable in the longer term however. Might sort some a little more robust with that.
Tuning an ECU is something new to me, I'm wondering if there are any dyno tuners is Brisbane who are proficient in the MS2, although I saw that TAS in Toowoomba are capable, although the thread was quite old. Interesting that gslender is a guru, but I don't want to become a burden on him.
Not quite committed yet, but knowing how I operate I'm not far away from deciding to go ahead. I'm quite excited at he prospect of this cheap but apparently elegant solution.

Buy a ms3pro module - much better than ms2 and still some soldering and bits to do. Mount inside an old na6/8 ecu case etc

I heard through the grapevine that TAS don't tune them any more, but you could check for certain with a phone call?
MS2 is priced fairly well but looking at the MS3-Pro's price it is punching with the big boys - MoTeC M84, Vi-PEC VPMX, Adaptronic, Autronic. Definitely look into all options for that price bracket.

The MS3 pro is better than them however..
Why dont you put a wideband on it and a knock sensing device and see if its infact as good as its going to get already/
