I have been trying to come to one of these days for ages now. I have been thwarted every month that they have been on, and sometimes available when they haven't been on. On April 19 I will be in Goulburn at the NSW Supersprints.

It just wasn't meant to be.......

Hi folks. Keen to go o Sugarloaf too and meet up with some MX 5ophiles. BUT are you aware that it is Steamfest that weekend at Maitland and that on that Sunday there is a most excellent car display in Maitland park.?! Really worth going to. All the usual suspects eg GT Falcons, Monaros, Torana's and the like but also a lot of "ordininary" cars that folks bring out just for the day. Not show cars as such but Grandads Belmont station wagon, a lot of English stuff, nothing flash but cars not usually displayed and usually in unrestored condition. Worth a look. Do that then Sugarloaf later in the arvo. Just a thought.? Cheers. C u at the Mount later that arvo?. Simon

Hi Mick. I plan to go to show and shine too. Doesn't seem to be much response to the Sugarloaf gig.??Ill go but not if I'm the only one. From posts on this site the time for meet seems to be 3-4pm and stay till bored? Cheers

That's right, it's been quite a while since we last had a meet but it was generally 3-4pm at Mt Sugarloaf. Steamfest sounds cool; I'll come along to that if I can. Either way, I'll definitely come up to Sugarloaf for a while.

We could also get Mick/Phil/a few other guys that I've chatted to on Facebook, so hopefully it won't be just us.

But yeah, I'm just waiting on family plans which will determine whether or not I go to Steamfest. If you want me to text you, just send me your number in a PM and I'll let you know.

i'll turn up around 3 if others are going,will bring that engine undertray if you want it paul.i'll try and get my son ken to turn up as well if he's back by then,(although I should have his car here) :wink:
