Thanks Dan I will look at the Aim stuff. I want to make a very informed decision before I commit to a replacement to the innovate. However, I'm trying to get seat time not play time with the car.
I have uploaded some of the VBO files that I have for various tracks I have been slowly around. Be great if others can as well.
Which data / track app do you use?

I will keep reading....
Are there any reasonably priced external GPS that you can recommend that will work with an iphone or ipad?
There is a DIY external 10Ghz GPS that connects via bluetooth and works with most lap timers. I know it works with Android so I assume it will work with iDevices too. Can build it yourself for around $30.
If people are interested one person could order all the required parts and then mail out kits. I was going to try it once I've finished all my other projects.

I have a Qstarz 10hz connected to an android phone which works fine.
I use RaceChrono2Avi to convert the data to video.
Then, its all put together in your favourite video editing software.
Here's an example, i have many more:

I don't believe the Qstarz works with IOS (iPhone).

I think what you mean is, the iPhone doesn't work with the Qstarz
