Manifold and dump pipe are off getting ceramic coated. Charge pipes and intake are done.

Here is the water pump inlet after modification, as well as the heater hard line after adding a -6 fitting for coolant return:

The mangled blue fitting was welded up to make a temporary cap and the stock MSM coolant return barb has also been welded up.

Next up is oil and coolant lines!

Bruce I dropped them off to Competition Coatings, it was a couple of hundred bucks to do the manifold and dump pipe in silver. They wanted over three hundred to do black! :shock:

From what I read, black is the only effective colour/coating for turbo manifolds (not sure about dumps)?
Tis a bit pricey considering the cost of the items (around the same).

Agree should have gone the black tim. Much higher temperature rating.

I had no idea the temperature ratings were different, I thought it was just aesthetics.

I spoke to Competition Coatings again and they recommended I stick with the silver, they said it should be more durable for my application. Time will tell I guess!
