Trev you certainly can compare 2 cars. I personally would be trully impressed if your NC in its final form could outrun a turbo NB with a T25 such as the one I just finished tuning.

What were the engineering limitations? I don't understand.

Dan I wasn't really trying to make example of the two cars. Ron did want he wanted to to do with his nc as I am it is completey different to his previous mx. I'm not trying to out perform any one I'm doing because I can, I have the funds and the people who would like to help me down this path whom I'm sure you know. If I could have got my nc turboed and rego legally in NSW I possibly would have, Suli did think about us going down that path but we are not. That's it I basically have turned my car into show car an not an every day drive that's what I wanted. Thanks

OK not a happy chappy. Dyno results in and car made 120 kw atw. I am told by bullet cars that they spent a lot of time sending tunes back and forth to usa and have not charged me for at least 6 hrs of tuning. They say if ai want they wll continue to tune it but ai will have to pay them for the work. $10,300 for 16 kw increase in my opinion is pathetic and insulting.
They will not commit to a power figure, when everyone else seems to get 147 kw atw or more.

ai would not recommend Bullet to anyone . Quotes sent to the wrong address.

They had my car for over a month and still no compliance plate issued for my car.

What do you think I should do.

16kw is all the got from the complete supercharger installation? Or 16 kW from the extra bits.

Yeah I'd be fairly unpressed also.

What sailaholic said. At least I got double what a stock NA6 has.

In fact a 27% torque increase at 5,500 just from making trumpets 50mm longer.

Ouch ... Fair Trading Complaint for a Refund ?

Postby oztrackdays » Wed Mar 04, 2015 5:03 pm

Seems the product does not perform as advertised, did they advertise a greater than 16 rwkw gain ?

Hopefully they make it right.

On their site they advertis Tricky Trev,s new south wales car which got 147 kw atw with standard exhaust.

I believe Trev paid for extra tuning tho. At the moment its 30 kw short of where I would like it.

There has to be a boost leak in there somewhere.

Hook a boost gauge up to it and see what it reads.

yhey are no longer called Bullet Cars. They ate now called Bullshit cars.

I have been waiting for over two weeks for the compliance plate, despite several calls to them.

Tom promised to send me contact details for cosworth so i could deal with them directly, still waiting.

Overall the experience has been horrendous. Car dropped off to them January 23 rd, got car back Feb 27.
