hey guys, my mate has a silver nb8c and his car is having some electrical issues as follows.
so when you turn the parkers on, just the middle drivers side light is lit but very dim (only the t10 bulb is lit). only light that is on at all.
on the second click (headlights on) the passenger side headlight projector light is on and the little drivers side middle t10 bulb is on still but nothing else,
when you put full beam on the middle normal bulbs light up on both sides and the projector on the passenger side is lit but nothing else lights up.
passenger speaker is also out, anyone know what the problem could be??
NB8C headlights and passenger speaker not working.

Re: NB8C headlights and passenger speaker not working.
So passenger side the following is happening:
Parker = not working
Low beam = working
High beam = working
And Driver's side:
Parker = working
Low beam = not working
High beam = working
That sounds to me like it's simply 2 blown bulbs, one low beam, and one parker.
Test them out by swapping the working bulbs with the non-working ones. That will tell you if it's the bulbs, or something else.

Re: NB8C headlights and passenger speaker not working.
you look at the owners manual for location of fuses and check them. Bulbs if blown normally betray a broken filament or air leak etc. By all means test with a known working bulb. If fuses are all ok you can also check function to wires by seeing if power to active wire per side is working on the switch position i.e. parkers and then low beam and then high beam. If HKS is right then high beam looks to be ok. The light being very dim sounds a bit odd -but try the other things first.

I am with Nic and Mr M. Check the fuses, relays, earth points and replace the bulbs.
