Keen to hear how you go.
Might have to call your tuner and see if they are willing to work with my MS2, especially since they are fairly local.

Unfortunately we failed. Attached are the results. A bit rich and something else was a touch high as well.
So needs to go back to the tuner for an adjustment.
I don't really understand the results and what readings are over.

Book a Double Test next time.
Get the CAT good and Warm.
We needed a Double Cat to pass the Honda Engine in your chassis.

The graphs are parts per million over time, so its a datalog of each of the gases they are testing.
Above and left of the graphs it shows the readings which is the peak numbers, you have a maximum you can hit, depending on the test you have been asked to pass. One or more of these peak numbers must be too high for your particular test.

Re: Bear's White NB8B Turbo "Snowie"
In Vic emissions test cost $700 each time. What's the NSW cost?
Make sure tester us using correct ADR for the YEAR of car and engine, NOT the current 2015 standard. My tester applied the current ADR-fail. I pointed out car and engine were 1993-easy pass. Current ADR is difficult to pass.

Re: Bear's White NB8B Turbo "Snowie"
Spoke to Colin the tuner and he was happy with the NOX readings as that he says, is the hard ones to get down.
The plan now is to fill it up with E10 and re-tune to suit.
The other option is to install a flex sensor $400.00 and run on E85 but it will then need 1000cc Injectors $500.00 and then to set it all up and tune for it for everything will be quite expensive as well.
This is the best option as E85 is the bomb but we can look at that after we get it through.
Good news is emissions tests are free

Thanks Dann
I'm also glad it's free in nsw. Last time I checked, nsw was the most expensive state to register you car, so bout time something is free!

Richard, for my personal reference, what sort of cat are you running? I'm wondering if I'd be better off leaving the standard cat in for emissions testing.

I tuned my car for E85 for Emissions Test. Just changed back to a 98 tune as car kept stalling whilst cold.

If you're really stuck an FG falcon cat (plenty of platinum) fitted to the car will significantly reduce the NOx's!

It's got a Euro 4 Cat Surcharge Steve. Dann chose it to pass emissions which it will "next time for sure Rocky". Just have to lean it out a bit.

Re: Bear's White NB8B Turbo "Snowie"
Thanks for that. I stupidly forgot that Dann did the exhaust.
Do you just call up to book in for the epa test and have to wait a week or two?
Best of luck, sounds like you are super close
