Re: 2015 WAKEFIELD 300
I'll be there again, this time in the Ensign Racing MX5 (#175). A few changes to the car over the 'off season', but hoping to make up for the one that got away at the Winton 300 last November.
Weather looks ok at the moment, but a couple of light showers during the race could make things interesting

They are still forecasting showers for Sunday, Saturday is going to be brutal - 33 degrees. Just no escaping it when it is that hot at Wakefield. Sunday forecast to be a little cooler 27.

Re: 2015 WAKEFIELD 300
Congrats to all that got out there.
The Harris car was amazing to watch, fantastic corner speed. My two favorite battles of the day were Harris v pro concept civic mid race and against the Orange 5 in the closing stages.
Fantastic performance TCR, commanding win. So consistent! I recall the commentary guys saying with like 20laps to go that you could just coast to the finish. The fact the fastest lap of the race was lap 126 of 127, it was clearly never an option.
Hard luck to those who didn't make the finish. The fighting spirit shown by the Herring team was something to behold, with the ammount of dramas they went through just to finish was a top effort, I was in the pits mid race and saw Todd welding up a repair and 2 minutes later he had the helmet on and was back out there at full attack.
Very proud to be an MX5er today and very excited to get amongst it all ASAP. Bring on the mx5cup in August.

Echoing what ^ Scotty said, well done to all. TCR great effort, and Andy awesome drive, also well prepped and dríven Russell - father and son combo (a few of those in both races).
I was watching from home on the feed (we didn't even make the start unfortunately) but both races looked a lot cleaner this year. Credit to all drivers, and to Wakefield Park.

Re: 2015 WAKEFIELD 300
Thanks guys.
Everything went to plan for once. Tony did a great job off the start and we'd just planned to stay in touch with the leaders in the hope that I could hunt them down at the end. As it turned out we pitted in the lead and it really was just a matter of conserving the car and maintaining the gap to second to take the win. With about 4 laps to go Tony asked me if I could catch Peter Lacey to put another lap on him (for bragging rights), so I put in a couple of quicker laps at the end and mangaed to get by him on the last lap
