Did it still have the bodykit & 16 inch wheels? This car had the Lockwood grille in the nose, SE skirts, NB8B 16's. Stock seats. Much cleaner than my car, I haven't washed mine since last winter...................

The 8B wheels were what were fitted when I bought it. The dealer asked for the body kit to stay on & I wasn't quibbling much as he gave me a pretty good price for the car & the SE already had the factory side skirts fitted.

The paint looked great when I got rid of the car. I'd clay bar'd, de-swirled, waxed & polished only a few weeks prior :roll:

Haven't seen any 5's for ages ... but a fantastic weather day in Adelaide today and spotted a red NC2 PRHT parked in Strathalbyn, a Stormy Blue NC PRHT also in Strathalbyn - said G'day as we passed each other and a silver NB on the Meadows to Willunga Hill road.

Saw a nice silver NA in North Adelaide this morning on the way to work. Lowered, ducktail, bride buckets, RB, black hard top. Anyone on here?

Very nice VR SE at the motorsport festival a few weeks back. Was at the sporting car club of SA stand. Black multi spoke wheels and a MX5cartalk sticker on the back. Was trying to find the owner but they were no where to be found!

Fired up Mutly for the first time in three months today for a bit of a drive. Saw a red NC in McLaren Vale, a grey NC in Willunga (thanks for the wave!) and a red NA near Kangarilla ... great afternoon for top down and happy to say all were :-)

Black ND circulating round the Colonnades carpark this afternoon.

Looked nice in black, but for such a tiny and low car that colour is extremely hard to see even as a pedestrian - even with the DRL's!

Great weather in Adelaide today, so took MXSE out for a decent run and seems a few had the same idea. Spotted a white ND on South Rd near the Moana turnoff, then later a white NA outside Pt Elliott and as I was coming in to Goolwa a black NC PRHT.

Black ND on Hampstead Road, Clearview this afternoon. Not sure if same car but a black ND about 20 minutes later following a few cars behind me on Portrush Road near Cross Road intersection. ND looks real nice in black!!
