And we're bringing our motley cars to your joint to detail them, and we think they'll be up to this level of greatness?

Who's idea was that? I'll have to have words!!

orx626 wrote:Due to things being a bit slow on the race car front, I took the opportunity to change out the factory Bilsteins and King spring combo for a second-hand set of Tien Flex's with EDFC. I hope with a bit of adjustment I may be able to smooth out the ride through turn 2 at Queensland Raceway. The EDFC is still to be wired in. I just plugged everything in, added some power and an earth, then reset the dampers and set a starting point.

So this was the 10th October 2009!!! The good news is that 5 years on the race car now runs...so I finally got around to installing and wiring in the EDFC unit for the Tein Flex's.

I had also been wanting to add a set of Defi gauges to "complete" the car. 8) You can see the EDFC controller through the bottom left quadrant of the steering wheel.

After going through no less than three N-Power rear mufflers over a 3 year period due to broken welds that locate the perforated tube internally (causing a horrible rattle), I finally woke up and fitted a new genuine Racing Beat unit last year.

.....so that's a wrap.

I can see my car in the background as well and whilst this makes me happy there is an empty feeling as well (and not just from the wallet) :)

Lets hope 2015 is a great year for all MX5 owners/drivers. I'm looking forward to entries opening for WTAC 2015.

Have really been enjoying driving this as a daily for the past 3 weeks. Tomorrow will see 180,000km tick over on the odometer. That's only 30,000km in the last 12 years.

Looks good Danny, best colour around still to me.

And I also see my car in the background of one of those shots.

Would love to see this car in person for so many reasons.
Coming to Sydney anytime soon, maybe EC on 12/4?

I'm rather happy with it too. :D

Unfortunately not...I can't ever see me driving it too far south of the border.

Of course if you are ever in Brisbane you are most welcome to drop in for a look.

Danny
