Hi All, Hope someone can help me with some advice. I have a 2004 Se and a month or two ago I put a BEGI CAI on it and it was going well apart from the under bonnet whooshing noises, BOV I think.
Yesterday the turbo started to whistle a bit when I gave it a bit of throttle, now it runs very poorly, no power and idles like it has a very lumpy cam in it. Any suggestions. I am hoping the turbo has not given up the ghost.
I am in Perth Wa and suggestions as to who to take it to would be appreciated as well.
Cheers
Col

Re: My SE is not well.
When I did mine the same thing happened. Check the connection going from the turbo to the intercooler. That's what popped off 1st on mine. Otherwise check the connection on the throttle body inlet.

Thanks for the replies, had another much closer look and found that the fasteners that held the BEGI pipe to the turbo has worked loose, obviously not tightened properly. My bad, all good now.
thanks again

Glad it was an easy and cheap fix.
If you had access to a car like this, would you take it back right away? Neither would I.
