Okay brought my dad a mk1 mx5 1.8is project car and he needs a full manifold to outlet exhaust system but wants to know the best one to go for, doesn't want to spend an arm but wants better than OEM standard, any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Curt.

Not sure what you mean by 'is'
The Mark 1 MX-5 1.8l were produced from late 1993 to 1996. We know them here as the NA8.
If you check the various forum sponsors you will find a number of options for a full exhaust systems. If you have a look at the parts for sale section you will see that Zossy1 is selling such a system.
In brief they are a number of options from buying a $400 to $800 set of headers, take them to you local exhaust shop and asking them to make and install the rest of required system, or buy a complete end to end system, which will cost $1500+
Tell us what your Dad is planning on doing with his new toy, ie strictly a road car, or a track only car....or a combination of both. Is there forced induction in the future......the answers to these questions will help guide our answers.
