Another option is to install 4 x bonnet pins and just lift it on and off.

So I installed the RRFPR today along with larger injectors
The fuel rail adapter was a bit of a prick, new holes needed to be drilled and then as it was leaking I had to cut the end piece off the OEM fuel regulator and linish it flat to make an adapter, in the end it sealed
Now I'm just waiting for the adapter for the idle control valve then I can do the timing......

Need screw in balls though :-(
either see if you can buy them seaprate.
or, see if the car has them and take them too.
Good option for the balls is to find a ute with a hard lid, the lids were all pretty much aftermarket, so pretty much all of them had the screw in balls (where OEM struts often had the balls welded)

Be careful what you get the struts off! Too strong a strut will leave your bonnet bowed when closed.

Managed to move the bonnet thing to the other side.......
Also did more work on the heat shield ..... Still needs a bit more

Fitted up the pipe for the IC valve
Then warmed it up and was going to do the timing when I noticed a massive amount of fuel under the car :-S ....... Lucky that nothing went bang.....car was on the ground so I didn't notice it for 5 mins or so
At first I thought it was the fuel rail adapter that I fabricated so off I went to rocket parts and found a proper one. Came home and installed it and it was still leaking :-(
Turns out it was the injector on cylinder one leaking...... Strange as they were fine the other day and have all new bits of rubber.
I reseated them and sealed them again and they were fine...... Oh well, fuel adapter needed to be done anyway
Did the timing and adjusted the fuel pressure to 43 psi took it for a drive and it felt like it was a little starved for fuel, so I upped it to 56 and when I took it for another drive it went a lot better...... Then the Idle control valve pipe split and so I put it away
All in all a successful day...... Another step closer
Need to change the oil in the charger and fix the pipe and probably some clamps whilst I'm at it
I'll post up some vid when I get a chance to edit it a little.

My thoughts were dodgy guesses so I didn't post.
Since no one else has responded, here they are.
You mentioned SNC issues earlier. Is the crank pulley wobbling? How bout your engine mounts, is one worn out?
Just trying to think of things that result from inertia.
Also guessing it only happens under load?

Thanks Speed, I suppose that it could be the SNC issue, but I don't think so, tensioner spins freely
It seems to happen when I lift off the accelerator after load, could it be the little black pressure release valve?
It almost feels like the boost is still trying to spin the supercharger and the engine rpm is slowing, causing the belt to slip, but I though the release valve would prevent this
Suppose I'll just live with it, another noise to the orchestra of noises now emerging from under the bonnet :-D

You are further along than me and I just don't have the experience to comment on the pressure relief valve.
Hopefully someone else can add some meaningful explanation.

I made up a fuel pressure calculator to try to ensure that I don't bin the motor, because I couldn't find anywhere online where all the formula were consolidated

I have a question for one of the wiser heads
Q: I've installed injectors off a 1.8 99-00 which are rated at 256 @ 43.5 psi yet are designed to run at 60 psi (with in tank fuel regulator with no return line)
Do these injectors need to run at this psi to work and should that therefore be the baseline psi in the model rather than the rated 43.5 psi ??
And how much head room (if any) do I need ?
Any help gratefully appreciated !!

Hi Wade, I'm having trouble getting the right size belt. I'm guessing you have AC and no PS, if so is your belt 1325mm in length?
From there I'm told the next available size is 1400! I thought I needed a 1330 or maybe 1335 but am now uncertain...
