That roll bar will not pass a CAMS scrutineering. It needs to be a full width hoop AFAIK.

That may not be a problem for you if you are only running non-CAMS events though.

Yep, it's not a race car. So don't need cams approved cage. I don't like the way the brown Davis rollbar is so far in from the sides. This one is about an inch from the line of the glass.

I bought Cobra Suzuka. They don't fit. Then I bought a Velo GTP-1. Fits ok.

Thanks.
Would you recommend the Milano over the gtp-1 for fitment and lowness?

The Milano's I had previously had bottom mount, and fit pretty good. The wings on the sides did hit a bit. And the Milano sits lower.
Problem is, it doesn't look like they sell them any more. They only have side mounts.

I will just fit in the car with a helmet on. That's why I made my own seat for the carbon fibre car. Can't sit lower without cutting out the floor.

Looks great. The front lip and ducktail really work together. Almost looks like one of those crazy euro Hillclimb mx5's just needs the big gaurds.

I take it you can have a weld in rollbar in Melbourne on the street? I pretty sure we ain't allowed in nsw.

It will look a lot better when it's finished. I painted the Rollbar last tonight, and put the parcel shelf carpet back on. I need to rego the car in Victoria today, as the RWC runs out tomorrow.
Look forward to having it all painted in matching silver. And it might need a better muffler, it's a bit loud, but it would be legal. Talking of legal, when the corner weighting and wheel alignment was done, he kept it at 100mm at the lowest point. So the car shouldn't get defected if ever I get pulled over.

Not sure on legality of the Rollbar. It makes the car safer, unlike some style bars.

I fully ducted the radiator as I am going to reduce the opening in the bumper by half. Less drag... Also quickly cut in a naca duct in a damaged bonnet (luckily it is matching silver) and put on an old silicon elbow. Should help feed some cool air straight to the filter. Will box it in when I get more time. Sanded the fastback nice and smooth, and started on the spoiler.
I bought some good 2k primer and matching silver paint. Hopefully get some colour on it before Friday.

More pics of the radiator ducting? This is something I need to do as well.

That's about the only shot that you can see it. I made some side panels up that run from the two upright plastic posts in the bumper opening. And go to the sides of the radiator. I bent the alloy so it hooks into the sides of the radiator and locks in. Then made a bottom piece., and stuck foam in the gap at the top of the radiator to radiator panel.
The car is ready for its first track day. I decided not to paint it in silver, as I still need to work on it. So it's all in 2k primer.

I still think this is one of the best fastback RHT designs and implementations I've ever seen!
Great work mate.
