High temps in summer heat.....suggestions please.

Not 100% sure mate. Calsification maybe. I have ways run demineralized water. Could have been from mixing 2 coolants that dont mix together. Had a 200k service about 6 months ago so maybe some sh*t got dislodged after the water pump was replaced. Only way to really tell is by cutting it open.

maybe it was a poor quality radiator. 3 years is pathetic. If its blocked wouldn't the radiator specialist check it to see if it would respond to a cleaning process. I find it hard to believe that any additives used in the water which are commonly sold are likely to be the cause.

A radiator guy could unblock it.

Yeah rang red devil rads. Apparently have to cut the end tank off, clean out and weld back on. Not financially viable. $200 for a new ASI unit.
