What diff do I have ??

Postby lowwn » Sat Jan 17, 2015 7:25 pm

Hi all, I recently bought an na6 which came with a "locking diff" separately, not installed. I asked the seller what diff it is and all he said was that it is a locking diff from a later model. I'm assuming it's a torsen off an na8 but can anybody confirm this ? Only markings I can find on the diff is T020. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Easiest and 100% foolproof way to tell is to just open the casing.

The pinion and crown are held in the front section, so you wont need to re-set the lash or anything.

you can then either look up pics of the centre to see what you have, or just post a pic here and someone can identify it.
