Was the tow hook for a rear hook protruding past the bumper? Only thing I can think of that would make it illegal, since your front one doesn't stick out at all.

rear is stock, but front one sticks out past bumper and cause the stock one had like foam crap around it this one needs to even if i mount inside bumper

I doubt it needs padding, sounds like a cop talking out his arse to me. My factory tow points are solid metal without padding and only sits 2" behind the aftermarket one. If it protrudes on yours though, that'd do it.

I doubt it needs padding, sounds like a cop talking out his arse to me. My factory tow points are solid metal without padding and only sits 2" behind the aftermarket one. If it protrudes on yours though, that'd do it.

yea it petrudes, and he also said something about it having to be "round". like mine is squarish, he said its silly cause straight edges make it stronger but bla bla the law. idk. dont really mind, ill just put it back on

so just a quick update,
this might sound weird and hard to understand but ill try explain it haha

going to america for feb, have been saving for that for a while, which means no mazda mods. and if i go on the forums or look at my car all i want to do is sell my life to modify it. so i havent been on here at all or touching the car so i dont have the urge to spend on it. so just so u know this thread isnt dead, it will return , just when i dont need to save for anything else. so untill around march goodby!
ps. hope everyone had a safe crissy and new years. bring on 2015.

i think thats all he rote down.
alot of stupid stuff and easy to fix things.

i got them signed off. not saying i actully fixed all of them
