I ran without cat for a year and then fitted a 200 cell one due to class reqs, and my power didn't change one bit..

If you end up tuning with an aftermarket ecu... You don't have to worry about Unburnt fuel killing your cat. Meow

I managed 70.4rwkw with my 200k km 1.6 motor with Uknown (possibly ebay?) 4-2-1 headers, stock exhaust, MS2 ecu, AFM delete and pod filter on the stock crossover pipe.
Since then I've bumped the timing up a fair bit and leaned the AFRs out as they were far too rich before so should be making a tad more power.

Same dyno over the years stock na8, 71kwatw, then headers, arc chamber plus intake, maruha cams and ecu 91kwatw, 12 months later, haltech big cams, high comp pistons bit of headwork, e85 jenvey throttlebodies, 126.3 atw, the only down side is I didn't read the rules properly for a certain class of racing so will put the normal throttlebody back on but still run e85 and hope I don't lose to much :lol:

170kw at the wheels in a 04 SE. It has AEM Intake, Custom exhaust (stock turbo and exhaust manifold) bigger dump pipe, bigger injectors, fuel pump, forged internals and a tuned adaptronic ecu running 16psi. Having said that the turbo committed suicide so I'm fitting another stock one and lowering the boost until i can afford to upgrade properly.

I think you'll find Swile "was" running 16psi (and I know it was, iv been in the car with him!)
However 16psi wasn't too good for the turbo and as such imploded on itself (or as said, it committed suicide lol)
