I think the stereo system is pretty bad. I don't know if that's the quality of the head unit, speakers or just the acoustics of the cabin space (top up or down) but it's not clear or very powerful. If anyone has overcome this please let us know.
Mazda and Bose spent a lot of time sorting the audio. Load a favourite CD, female artists are a good start, familiarise yourself with the functions program and play around a bit. You may be expecting too much from your 'phone.

You'll have to explain that one. :)

It's funny because I was gonna get personalized plates with '11' until I decided it's not worth the $250 ordering fee.

Nice! The White nc is what I would get now too.
Yeh the stock suspension can be improved. I only upgraded mine a few months ago on my 06 nc. Can't believe I went that long looking like a 4x4 boat...
I think the nc2 onwards had slightly improved that

Yeah it's a bit more stable than the NC1 I drove... that nosedived a bit too much around roundabouts and tight turns. But I gotta say I like the cushy feeling, I like setting the suspension up before a corner. Yesterday I went through the royal national park. I went up macquarie pass this morning, then took jambaroo road. This thing corners so much faster than my s15 did.

Here's a couple more pics that I posted on FB yesterday.

Hold off on suspension upgrades for a little while. Practice soft hands and minimal input, you may be surprised.

I'm amazed you had to have Bluetooth fitted in a car of this day and age. Even a poverty pack Toyota comes with Bluetooth

What is the connection with this car and a storm trooper? I really am missing the point.

Mr M,
You will need to compare images of the car and a stormtrooper.

Yes I finally got the reference -my generation would take a very different connotation of a stormtrooper - a far more negative sense and certainly no glamour attached to that.

I'm probably "your generation" but not so heavy and limited......hopefully
You don't have to lay your negative connotation on it from some distant memory sir, let the youngsters use their memories from Star Wars or whatever and lighten up

I wasn't aware of the other storm trooper.

Loving my little car. I was a bit hard on the stereo, it is a fair bit better when you play a CD (as tam said), there is a fair bit of a drop in sound quality with mp3's and radio. I'm wondering if I should limit how many times I open/close the hard top, just as a longevity thing.

Bit worried I'll like the ND when I see it lol.

No chance of soft hands if he drums like Keith Moon, or Animal from the Muppets (who is Keith Moon in his second visitation).
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)
