Hello all, just a quick question. I know you can use the rear SE muffler on the n/a NB.
But can you also use the centre muffle/midpipe on the non turbo model. Cheers.

For $120. It was worth trying to get rid of the rattle. Plus my rear muffler was rooted anyway. So if the other parts don't fit, as they don't seem to. I'll just sell the other two items. Then save and get a proper exhaust later. Just that rattle is really getting to me.

Cheers mate. I'll try fix it another way in the mean time before full exhaust.
I just cant afford the full exhaust atm. Ah well.

Re: SE cat back on nb8b
My understanding was the SE muffler bolts up fine to a standard NB exhaust at the axles.
No real performance gains but a nicer engine note and more stylish tip.
At least the guy I sold my muffler to had no problems.......

Dann is correct in that the muffler doesn't really fit properly, there's a gap left between the tip and the rear bumper. But it does bolt on fine.

Yeah, didn't notice much difference in tone. I am mostly doing it because my exhaust is rooted. I was trying to wait till I could afford a proper full system, but it got the better of me. Unfortunately the one I got has a rattle in the muffler, so I may cut it up and modify it.
