Towing a light tinny vs towing a jetski are in the illegal pile. One requires care while the other is crazy. Iirc my manual said 450kg braked. Which is nothing after a box trailer.

Anything's possible. Oh and they both have 5 in their names. An omen or what...

I towed a small (kit-built) unbraked trailer behind the GM for a year or two, taking tyres/tools to the track, probably around 100-150kg all up. Used a custom built towbar, towed at 110+, no problems.

That trailer and towbar was on-sold to someone on the forum, and is (I think) still used infrequently in the same manner.

Legal? I never had cause to find out. Didn't worry me, obviously, but the combo was not visually alarming. A 6x8 boxie with a load, or a big jetski, hmmm ...

I never met a horsepower I didn't like (thanks bwob)
