I'm not sure that it could ever run on the road like it is..... The noise is crazy, but when it is done I may trailer it to the track to see if it blows up or not

What are you running?

My install is not yet complete but same SC as you. MS2, 320cc injectors, stock SE intercooler with custom pipes. Hurricane extractors, high flow cat, 2.25 exhaust.

Air filter box is the tricky bit due to my lack of space.

Previous owner had it tuned to 109kw atw.

If I wasn't working this week I would have it up and running!!!!

My engine has done in excess of 250 kms and based on the videos my SC is heaps louder than yours. Hoping that bonnet insulation helps otherwise I'm stuffed

I read somewhere that intercooler piping length can sometime affect the noise

I'm running those supra injectors 93-clubman referred to. Works (albiet a little rich with the stock ecu) with the rotrex which is pulling similar psi. Running afpr with standard timing.

Awesome.... Good to know that the stock ECU can deal with it !!

Have you dyno's it and do you know what it is putting out?

Cheers I saw that

I,m a little unsure as to how to install the two throttle bodies though......still researching, though it seems as though you take off the throttle position sensor off the original throttle body and put it onto the one before the supercharger. I,m just not sure how this then opens and closes the supercharger throttle body......

You need to run another throttle cable to the supercharger throttle, the tps does nothing to open or close the throttle. It only tells the ecu if the throttle is open or not.

Leave the tps where it is. As BP says, you use a 2nd accelerator cable. This is linked from the SC TB to the wheel on the first TB. My SC TB has all the little holes and galleries blocked off.

My IC piping is much shorter then most so we will see how she sounds once welded up

I need to figure out what to do with the air flow sensor.....with the sensor there is no room for an airfilter

I'm having trouble trying to get everything to fit in with the stock air flow sensor.

Does anyone know if one of the straight through ones of a NA8 will work ?

Are the plugs the same and will the ecu read it ?

Unfortunately, the AFM & MAF plugs are different (7 pin v 5 pin), & even if NA6 AFM loom is rewired with the correct MAF plug, the NA6 ECU won't read the the NA8 MAF. As you will have seen, the NA6 AFM is a vane (flapper door) type while the NA8 MAF is a hotwire type. Signal is similar, but critically, it's reversed. See my posts in following for more detail:

Ok I decided that the MAP sensor was all too hard so I decided to adapt the current sensor to allow it to mate to a pod filter.

At first I was going to cut a bit of metal and make a adapter, but when I was at supercheap I saw some for 12 bucks so I though I would try my luck and try to use one of these as a starting point

I picked the smallest one and when I got it home it bolted straight up !!!!

So now I just need a 90 degree reducer elbow and the cold air is sorted.

I also noticed that my OEM throttle body already has a place to mount a second cable...... Fk knows why, but it saves me buying the add on piece so that is sweet

I also mapped out and measured the intake crossover pipe requirements, shouldn't be too hard, a 45 degree pipe at the front to clear the thermostat. Biggest issue will be mounting the oil breather and that other pipe (that does Fk knows what) onto it.

I'll order a rising rate fuel pressure regulator next week and hopefully by the end of the month she'll be drivable !!!!
