Community service anouncement, Radio,Int light and Key remot

Postby Old Dude » Tue Dec 23, 2014 11:01 pm

Hi guys
This may have been discussed already, but in case it hasn't. I fitted a new Battery today and all was good but the Radio didn't turn on, so I thought OK ill have to put the security code in but there appeared no power at all, also the key fob remote didn't work, although both the doors would lock and unlock if you operated the drivers door lock,
Then it was found that the boot remote also wouldn't work.
I had already checked all of the fuses connected to the Radio and they were all OK including the fuses in the engine bay. I then noticed that the interior light wasn't working, when I checked the fuse that controls that, I found it had blown.
When I replaced this fuse, everything else worked as well. It is number 8 and the description is "ROOM", just be aware that this little number controls a lot more than you expect it to.

Cheers
