NA8 seat belt webbing replacement

Postby Odd » Thu Dec 18, 2014 12:19 pm

Just added a set of Carbon Miata seat belt extenders....they work well

but the seat belt webbing is looking a bit faded(not frayed).....I would like to diy fit a New webbing
but can only find complete new seat belt kits

Anyone know where I can buy just the webbing?

Thanks ;)

You will need to send them your belts as it needs to be done professionally with a new certificate issued for them. You won't be able to DIY

Remember that the whole assembly, not just the webbing, is getting on in years now. I've seen some pretty bad hits on the top of the windscreen frame from old webbing and weak retractors.

I suggest you call seatbeltsolutions to talk to them about what they can and can't do. Then compare that to new genuine complete assemblies from mx5parts.co.uk or cheaper generics from shops like Repco.
