I made my own ECU

Hi everyone. I've been working on my own ECU design as a personal project and wanted to share it with you. Progress has been slow due to many things that I won't go into right now. I'm hoping to pick up where I left off around the new year. It's far more basic than any aftermarket ECU you can buy today, but then of course that's nowhere near as fun.

Interesting - I assume you've looked at the megasquirt and diyefi ecus?

They both look pretty good and I like the megatunix and tunerstudio software. DIYEFI seems much more friendly and open... Maybe I will contribute some day.

That's an ambitious project! Cool

As per your blog post, for the connector holes that are too small; of they are pth and you feel them out then you may need to solder both the to and bottom sides to maintain connectivity...

I ended up making a new board that actually fits the multilock connector. Haven't put it all together yet.. Yeah the pads are pretty small so I will probably end up soldering both sides.

Gonna share the code? I wrote a fair bit of good stuff the ms2 with regards to idle code and a few other things. Would be happy to help you if you want. Would even be keen to buy the board and bits from ya and help develop stuff.

I haven't decided yet. The code needs a bit of a clean up anyway. Having someone to work with would be awesome.. But I worry that the project will run away from me since I don't get much time to work on it.

I might send you some stuff once I get it into a better state
