Hi everyone just after a heads up from someone that has had a set of KU36 205/50r15s on a set of standard wheels.
They will be used for mostly road use but if I get my self organised hopefully a track day or two.
The main concern I have are how well do the 205s fit in the stock rims because I cant find them available in 195?
please correct me if im wrong.
Thanks

205s are marginal on 6s. Should fit ok depending on your ride height and camber. Check with full fuel load and both driver and passenger in the car before you drive anywhere because if you do need to roll the lips of the guards it'll be less painful on your wallet if you do so before you drive anywhere.
UK since return: Standard NC2 (horrid), C200K, ND2 BBR, NC2 BBR200 (loved it), NC BBR300 (better than BARMY), V-Special, turbo NB8B (my 84th car)

Just my 2cents. have you considered the falken rt615k tyres?
I have not dríven an mx5 with ku36's on, but have reports from quite a few customers that ku36 is a bit wild in the wet. Great dry tyre though. I have rt615k's, great all round. SOO much grip, and still there in the wet.
Just some food for thought.
