I have 14" daisies and 15" NB8A rims both painted black.

They both look really nice but the 14"s are lighter and the 15"s are wider with more tyre choice.

Honestly the daisies only go on my car when the 15"s run out of tread.

Here's the three most recent & informative threads on 14" tyres:
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=64619
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=57881
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=59198

Note, some of the tyres mentioned above are no longer available, & some are more specialised (& more expensive) than you're after, so the list is now fairly short. I've got to get some good 14" road tyres for a non-MX5 late this year or early next, & I've still not decided what I'm getting.

Btw, with 14" tyres being less popular & slower moving items these days, it's worth checking the manufacture date (WWYY) on the side-wall to ensure you're getting as recent a tyre as possible.

The wheels have been collected in Brisbane and are on the way south. Now for some tyres...

It depends on what you are after performance wise
Type 185/60/14 tyres in ebay to get 50 to look at.

Bridgestone, Toyo, Pirelli etc.

Probably too late for you, but the RE001 has been replaced with a T001. I have had these for about 3 months/2000k and have found them to be a good street tyre.

I am pleased to report that my 14" daisies are here, and painted. Black. Matt. El cheapo. I think they look great. Tyres are ordered and should be here Thursday. Happy days.

Well folks, new wheels and tyres are now on. It's amazing how easy it is to steer the thing with 14" wheels instead of 18" low profiles....
