Re: coffee run darling downs
I agree as I have attended both club and non club events and have liked all of them so far, but I choose which interest me. My interest is MX5's that why I am in the MX5 General Chat of MX5 Car Talk forum. The cars are the common interest for us and which is the basis for social and other events.

OK, fair enough. For the record, your nomination form was not received for the AGM.

Re: coffee run darling downs
This is a discusson about coffee runs on the Darling Downs and is not really the appropriate place to discuss the minutiae of Club AGM nominations. However, as you appear to be making it your concern, prior to the AGM I had communications with Club President who is aware that my nomination was not received at the AGM, despite my offer of assistance to the Club at that time. I will not reply further on this (off) topic matter. Thanks NAS

Re: coffee run darling downs
So where is the coffee meet on Sunday 30/11/14?
It needs to be between Ipswich and Warwick. As i will be unloading my car off a trailer I would like to get to Morgan Park by 0700. Is it too much to ask the Darlings Down people to drive to Warwick? I can be in Warwick by 0600 no problems, YukDonalds the breakfast of champions

A regular meet up for coffee and buffet breakfast sounds very good to me.

Re: coffee run darling downs
Great to hear from the north side weekend coffee crew and Kev05. It is refreshing to receive support and positive comments. Thanks all! I am thinking of the Plainlands Caltex Travel centre as it has a coffee club for a regular meet for the west Brissy people as it is about half way to Toowoomba. However, there are many great coffee place in Toowoomba (including a 'Melbourne laneway' style coffee shop and even an aromas) if the north side crew would like a drive up the range sometime. As a bonus, I know a great road heading back down the range. Let me know what suits you all! Cheers NAS PS see you all tomorrow for the Auto+ Open day and we can discuss and arrange the first Brisbane West weekend coffee meeting / Darling Downs / Lockyer Valley / Plainlands / Toowoomba or whatever we decide to call it. Again, a big THANK YOU for the positivity!

Thanks Nas. During the many trips to Darling Downs for runs, I would drive up Flagstone Creek Road or take Murphy Creek road rather than up Warrego highway that is slow and boring.

For breakfast, I prefer the roadhouse type breakfast. Affordable and generous portion.

Kev I was thinking of Blanchview Road off the highway which joins Flagstone Creek and leads into the south east side of Toowoomba. The Plainlands travel centre has food options and is halfway for Magpie. NAS

Southside meaning Rangeville? I've yet to explore that area. Do you know any independent cafe that serves a hearty breakfast?
