Re: Do you wave at other MX5s?
I always keep an eye out for other MX5s when I'm out in mine (DD so out a lot).
My experience is that there is less acknowledgement than there used to be (been driving mine for 21 years so a reasonable sample size).
Latest observations:-
40 to 60 percent of NA drivers will wave, wink (lights) or nod.
30 to 50 percent of NB drivers will wave or nod.
0 percent of NC drivers will respond - in fact most I have waved at will either deliberately ignore or look at you like an alien. I've stopped waving to NC drivers - different breed I think.
I winked at an NB yesterday on Frederick St. in Croydon.
This morning on Frederick St. I was waiting in traffic and strangely enough a guy in a Ford something on the other side looked at my car and nodded vigorously with a grin and a thumbs up - must have been a fellow MX driver in his company car methinks!

WOW!

Would've been good if you had taken a photo of yourself in the roadster every day, then compile it into a youtube video showing how you and the roadster age over time. Or stay young if the case may be.
I received thumbs up from NB's so far which I return back wholeheartedly.

Yes.
The return rate isn't that much worse than what I get from other riders when on my bike.

When I owned the NA, I did the fuse change that allowed me to pop the lights up and down quickly with a single pull on the stalk.
I used to do it a lot back then. Sometimes I did wonder to myself if other MX5's "got" what I was doing, or whether they thought I was suggesting there were cops up ahead
