I could ask Danny or Jason if they want to use it to pick Regie up?

One of these days if it can be arranged I'm happy to let some people do a few laps at a track. Need to talk to Danny about a Plus track/come and try day

Regie, it looks like Corners will be at Brisbane airport to pick you up in a blue/silver MX5 NA6. All I need to do now is arrange the finer points. I hope you enjoy the open day.

What's the pros vs cons of being apart of the club display? I.e. Aren't a bunch of mx5 owners going to a MX5 mechanic parking in the car park already on display?

There are neither pros nor cons.
It's just a bit of a flag waving exercise to show people that the club does exist, has MX-5 enthusiasts and is interested in supporting a sponsor.
It may also lead some of the club's more invisible members to participate in a technically oriented social event. :wink:

Hence my offer to Regie. As a member of the MX5 club QLD offering to help out a fellow MX5 driver and as person who has Automotive Plus stickers on his car showing off the work Automotive Plus does.

But since I can't pick Regie up somebody had to

Any volunteers to get Regie back to the Airport (in their car) as my car won't be available for the return trip.

Mark, I think it's time to drop the "na6" moniker. Seeing as I think the only na"6" thing left is the chassis number.

The body, dash, mariner blue paint, glass, rubbers, brake booster, pedals, radiator overflow, fuse box are all OEM NA6...

Anything happening on the Friday night??

Im trying to justify this as a work trip with some Hanger visits on Friday morning

Friday night, they are run on the first Friday of the month, however maybe somebody could run one on the last Friday of the month.

Sat morning, Roger's coffee meet at Burpengary. Starts at about 0700 then you could head back to Plus.

I will be leaving home around 6.30am, stopping to grab a coffee then getting the NA down for display around 8am

Let me know your plans Regie and see if we can work something out dependent on when you are arriving :wink:

im sure there will be plenty around to help for the drive back.
there are a few of us living close by.
just depends on Regies schedule.

Hey Roger and the rest of the gang.

Im going to pull the pin on tomorrow, at most id be able to spend a hour at Danny's palace, its just too far to travel for that. (Who has engagement parties starting at 2pm anyways :shock:

) But being on the bridal party i feel obliged to attend.

Saying that i have 2 work mates heading up for the day, Matt and Matt. If you see a guy that looks like Ned Flanders give him a head slap

Ill keep an eye on QLD club events and drive on up next time!!!
