Re: Reggie's MY07 NC
That was a club track day, there were 70 odd cars there
I was probably the only stupid one to go out in those conditions

Love the RPF1s!!! Rest of the car looks great and fun too!

Arguably the worst looking of all the series, too heavy, sterile feedback, handles like a boat and with an interior that is way over complicated for a pure roadster.
Limited with what you can do with modifications.
Waste of money really now with the new model just released. NB and NA are the ones you should buy.
Looking forward to Mazda getting back to it's purity of the NB and NA with the new model.
Saving for a NB at the moment. Looking forward to meet you guys.
haha wow
obviously you have little knowlegde about the MX5 series

I was thinking that when I read it, clearly hasn't dríven an NC or understands the suspension geometry in one

Arguably the worst looking of all the series, Personal Choice
too heavy, 30kg's heavier than the NB8B, The NC's power increase makes up for that
sterile feedback, handles like a boat - Not when you see what a stock NC is doing around the track compared to the previous models
interior that is way over complicated for a pure roadster. - What are you going to say about the ND with its entertainment centre??
Limited with what you can do with modifications - Obvioulsly you havent seen the LEGAL Supercharged NC's getting around
Waste of money really now with the new model just released - I wouldnt buy one new now, Im very keen to throw my name on the list for the ND
NB and NA are the ones you should buy. - again Personal Choice - I had a NB before the NC
Broken down for you
MY07 NC, Mazdaspeed Body, Ohlins, Full GWR Exhaust, 17x9 RPF1's, 4.1FGR and lots lots more

Re: Reggie's MY07 NC
Having owned two NA,s, one NB and one NC I like all series models including the upcoming ND.
Stock standard The NC isn,t quite as fluent thru the corners as the earlier models, add sway bars and aftermarket springs and its bettr than earlier models.
Personally, hate popup headlights on any car. Would never go softtop again, too many softtops get slashed.
The NC would benefit tho with an extra 20 killerwasps.

Wow, now thats a way to introduce yourself to a forum, hate on someones car... yea well done mr sunbaker, your going to fit in really well
All MX5 models, NA, NB, NC and the upcoming ND in my opinion, are all fantastic and brilliant. Iv only owned an NB but been lucky enough to drive a few NA's and an NC and they are all brilliant and great fun and are a true sports car.
Dont like the NC for whatever reason? Thats fine and your personal opinion but take your negative comments and toddle off

Everybody's entitled to their opinions, but there are correct places to post them ... the garage thread of one of the best NC's around is not the place ......

Re: Reggie's MY07 NC
Sunbaker,
I have had the pleasure of owning an NB, an NB8B and my NC2 they are all different but the NC brings ME the greatest joy.
In regard to your statement regarding modifications, you really need to do some more homework, with very little effort I have secured a pair of adjustable Whiteline swaybars, a set of Tein Super Street Coilovers, Stainless Steel braided brake lines, High performance pads, a GWR Roadsport muffler and a wealth of assistance from people far and wide. I do not consider myself to be a 'Modder'.
Greg.
P.S. Do not be fooled into believing things that the "Purists" pursue, drive as many MX-5's that you can before your purchase, ask questions (There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers and foolish statements) and above get used to smiling more often and spending more on sunscreen. The back pages of this forum are littered with Dickheads.

When you turn your car on, does it return the favour?
