I just got the opportunity to buy a set of 15x8 wheels with an offset of +25 off of a mate. After buckling one of my racing harts a while back iv sort of been looking for a new set. Will these wheels fit on my se? From looking around im under the assumption that honda, an eg civic to be particula have the same stud patern? I havnt had much experience wheels so im not certain on what will fit and what wont.
Suspension is still standard also.
Thanks in advance, Corey.
need a hand, will these wheels fit?

Have a read on good win racing web site as reference. There are a few wheels 15x8 wheels with 25mm offset and you can read Brian's comment on each wheel for mounting..
For example: http://www.good-win-racing.com/Mazda-Pe ... 35GLD.html
With standard suspension on SE it should not be touching the fender at all. But you should test fit to ensure it clear the SE brakes.
What wheels are they anyway?

That link seems to suggest they fit on the SE's with a 205/50 15 tyre... As long as you've got -1.5 camber
I'm in a similar boat at present... Although my rims are only 15 x 7 +25 on my SE... Trying to work out what R-Specs I can get on there without any need for rolling etc.
Was ideally looking at some R888's in 225/50 15 size but no idea if I'll have any fitment issues - Running -2.5 camber front & -2.0 camber rear if that helps.
PS - Sorry for the hi-jack!

some 15 inch wheels will not fit over se brakes. but if its your mate im sure you can test fit
i had to fit braided lines to get 15s on my nb8b. (they have a smaller head on the banjo bolt than the oem lines)

Re: need a hand, will these wheels fit?
205/50 R888s with -2.5 camber on the front on 15x8 +25s on quite a low SE hit the top centre of the wing lip before it was rolled. The damage was an unrepairable triple kink on the inner lip. It would have been avoided if I'd rolled the lip in the first place.
The rears were ok with -3.0 but have now also been rolled to be on the safe side.
225s sound very wide. 40s and/or higher ride height might be needed. - or maybe even more negative camber?

Re: need a hand, will these wheels fit?
Thanks for the help! I tried them on and what did you know, they fit..... and no they didnt brakes are too big so they scraped ever so slightly, a couple of mm and they would of gone on fine.

Depending on where the touch grinding a touch off the calipers to get clearance is a valid and easy option to get the wheels to fit.

Re: need a hand, will these wheels fit?
I needed to change banjo bolts to get my 15x8 +25's on (as per the above comment re: braided lines). In the short term I found taking to the banjos with a file got me out of trouble.
