5/6 Speed speedo sensor thread size

Postby Magpie » Mon Nov 03, 2014 4:30 pm

Can anybody confirm the tread size for a 5/6 speed speedo cable? I have a NA6 with a 6 speed and instead of putting in the 6 speed electronic speed sensor I'm looking at putting a Terratrip J probe in. This allows the mechanical speedo cable to be kept whilst also giving an electronic pulse. Issue is the Terratrip J probe is a M22 thread, hence the question.

I have a few laying around, so I will check, and if you find out, I'd be keen to grab one as the MS3 ECU has a speed input to allow for HP power calculations

Good news, Jason at Automotive Plus has advise that it measures up as a M22 with a 1.5 pitch. Parts ordered!

Part will be installed and wired into the PS1000 whilst it is parked at Automotive Plus.

Now to figure out the meters per pluse
