Otherwise just come and join us for a great day at the track. Bookings are now open. Please make sure you put your name in your payment transfer !!!

Lakeside Records Broken:
What a huge day at Lakeside on Saturday, especially for Mick Sigsworth and the GT Auto team who smashed the lap time and put down a 49.45 in his EVO. Another noteworthy achievement was Peter Roma and the guys from RPM Dyno who set the new GTR record at 57.32sec. Congratulations guys, that’s what Time Attack is all about.

Lakeside Points:
I will get these sorted and up on the website over the next week, stay tuned and keep an eye out for Round 4 results.

James Hay thanks for slowing me to follow you for a few laps. At least I did not follow you at turn 2 :) Let me know when you want to chat about data logging. If you get a chance grab a copy of Competition Car Data Logging (Simon McBeath).

Peter Murray thanks for the tyre pressure advice for after lunch. Ended up running 26 hot (as you predicted) and the car felt so much better. The alignment is still an issue, 2° of caster is not suitable for the track.

Once the tyre pressures were set at 26 hot, times dropped almost 2 secs! 1:04.73 on the sprint so I'm more than happy. Still I have a problem with the oil temp, it says that it is way too hot and whilst I have a feeling it is wrong I can't ignore it!

FZ201's.

Looked at the data and the oil temp is all over the place, I say it is the sensor. I have rewired it all before thinking it is an earth issue. My single warning light at 120 did not go off and oil pressure was ok. Since the Racepak dash is going in I will have another oil temp sensor installed (in place of the 120 deg).

Video from VBox Lite, data from Innovate DL32 merged with Dash Ware.
As you can see the water temp is perfect however the oil temp is all over the place. I have added weight transfer Front/Rear as well as Left/Right, these are from the Logworks Maths channels.
