Cut the foam on the seat in half
Some problems, are so complex that you have to be highly intelligent
and well informed just to be undecided about them

I'm over 6' and my advice, you shouldn't have the roof up. No clearance problems then. 8)
Oh, there's more clearance in the NC than I had in the NA or NB.

I wouldn't swap mine either. Awesome car! May have to sit in a sparco sprint v to see what I think. Especially since they are still on special!!! Anyone near Peakhurst got one in a na6 that I could try???

Caffeine, any details on your seat setup? I'm of similar height and always played with hatches because of head room.
Have always wanted to get into an mx5 if possible, but all the ones I've sat in were owned by short guys

I have a stock seat, but after 260000 km, it has sagged a lot.

I also drive with no shoes on.

Hi everyone

I'm the guy TTT was referring to in his post; yesterday I bit the bullet and bought an NB8A. I wouldn't say I fit perfectly but well enough to drive and enjoy for now and look for solutions, if needed, later on.

Peter, thanks for the offer - I'd like to take you up on that and I will be in touch.

Looking forward to picking up the car tomorrow and enjoying it in time for summer!

Cheers
Marco

Welcome to the obsession Marco!

The Canberra Chapter had its Coffee and Lies meeting at the AWM café on Saturday, you just missed it but we will be back there first Saturday in December - love to see you then!

In the meantime - enjoy!!
