Fumes in cockpit

Postby Geordie » Sun Oct 26, 2014 7:11 pm

I get a strong smell of exhaust fumes in the car when stationary with the top up or down though I can't see where they may get in, worse when I turn the fan on though it should not be drawing air from anywhere near the engine bay. any suggestions on where to start. my car is a 2002 SP
Regards

I'd start at the headers and check all the way down to the tail pipe looking for leaks.

Exhaust leak combined with a torn transmission tunnel boot!
