Help finding MX-5 badge

Postby Roadrunner » Tue Sep 16, 2014 10:55 pm

Hey everyone. I'm trying to find the two badges that come standard on the rear end of the U.S mx5 SE's (mazdaspeed)
GoMiata have them on their website but say they are sold out and are discontinued by Mazda
http://www.gomiata.com/mareemkit.html
eBay seems to flooded with the Mazdaspeed badge in different sizes so that's not really an issue, but the MX-5 badge in the link above seems impossible to find.

Has anyone seem any for sale anywhere?

If you're planning on putting the Mazdaspeed on the boot edge like it is positioned in the USA then how about considering a JDM 'Roadster' badge instead of the US spec MX5 logo?

This one....

Then you could keep the current badges (MX5, SE & Mazda) at the level of the tail lights and have the other two on the boot lip.
You could even add a 'Miata' badge on the same level as the SE bagde but on the driver's side and complete the entire set!

Of course then you would have 6 badges on the rear of your car......

If you have the part number, ring your Mazda dealer (and be braced for the price!).

Thanks NZmiata, that exactly what I was looking for.
Only downfall, $21 for the badge and $70+ delivered

I'm getting the rear bumper re-sprayed soon, maybe I'll just run completely de-badged for a while

I looked at the NC badge but didn't like the black outline (the new ND badge looks excellent though!)

I ended up going in with a few members to share the postage costs on the badges from Arlington, so all sorted.

Now just got to get the rear bumper de-badged and resprayed!
