Hey guys thought I'd ask the gurus on here.
I've been dealing with this oil leak weeks on end.
Freshly built (only done 300km) engine (BP4W) in my 05 SE.
Leak is from front of engine.
Bolt in oil pump and rtv'd. Cam seals are dry. Front main was dry and today I rtv'd the whole valve cover gasket thinking the leak was coming from that. Just came back from a test drive and still leaking...
Pressures are mid 60s PSI with a shim in the relief valve.
It's doing my head in.
The leak pools right under the front pulley. There's oil being flung from running down the pulley.
Leak is not severe but on a freshly built engine I'd rather not have a mess in the bay.
Thoughts?
If there are any WA guys that wanna have a look and help me diagnose that would be great!

Re: Puzzling oil leak
Cam seal or crank seal leaking due faulty seal or incorrect installation.

Yep, pull the front cover off, remove crank pulley and inspect. I'd think the front main seal isn't installed correctly or damaged, but pull things off until you find it. It will get worse and become a problem

True. Worth confirming if the sump was RTVd correctly too.
