Autotecnica A999 Seats - Help installing

Postby booki89 » Sun Sep 21, 2014 4:13 am

Hey all,

Purchased a A999 seat, having a bit of trouble fitting it. Has anybody fitted these before to a NA?

I put the factory slider on the included universal rails and the seat sits way too high, it is in a undrivable position. It is alot higher then stock.

Am i better off paying extra for a Sparco Sprint V as people seem to have good luck with this seat?

Or am i doing something wrong with the installation? Have never installed different seats before.

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Measure the height of the new base and the cushion. Compare with the factory cushion height.
I replaced my Sprints for SE seats and I sit a lot hiighet. Proves that Sprints bury u down a lot.
Sprints are for sale now.

How's the fitment? Can you take some pics?

Are you happy with them? How do you find them comfort wise.

Yeah Im happy with them.
I have these on the passanger side, drivers side I have the fixed mazdaspeed bucket seat.
Fitment wise is good, but you cant slide all the way back as the
shoulder part of the bucket seat interfears with the seat belts.
