Tyre City Northgate (Qld) - Federal 595 RS-R special

Digging around for entry-level semi-slicks, I stumbled across a special from Tyre City (http://tyre-city.com.au/) on Federal 595 RS-Rs through their Gumtree shop (http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/virginia/wheels-tyres-rims/federal-595-rs-r-street-legal-performance-tyre/1053537620).

Looks like they're available on-line or on-site - I'm getting 205/50R15's for $114 a corner fitted (just tyres to wheels, they'll be my track set) pick up onsite.

I've seen Tyre City mentioned positively here a couple of times. Rob seems a good guy to deal with.

Thanks for the heads up, I need 2 RSRs to replace the shagged ones I've got on my stock wheels. Not a fan of driving on proper semis on the road if I can help it.

Good deal 'Vat' - go for it! The KU36's used to be around the $120's but have climbed a bit - the Federal is a good tyre for the track

I went and had my 2 damaged RSRs replaced there this morning. Rob's a nice guy, and despite what that gumtree ad says, he didn't charge extra for fitting and balancing, it was included in the $114/ea price for 195/50/15s. So, a full set would only be $456 fitted and balanced. Very, very cheap.
