Is it the DDMWorks Stage II intake you're trying to imitate? I've got one of those and yours looks like quite an impressive replica. :NB8B:

That is the one. :) Hope it turns out as planned.
Would have bought one but they seemed to be always out of stock when I looked on web sites.

Picked up the fabricated intake pipe today.. See how well I designed this tomorrow when I try to fit it. Fingers crossed.

Intake install almost complete. I need to shorten the intake pipe slightly and hopefully my air filter arrives next week.

Finished up the CAI intake today. (bar the correct air filter)
Felt good to drive and not as sluggish at low RPM as the cold side intake. Exhaust mid pipe will complete the work for the moment.

Not going to put a hair dryer on it any time soon but hopefully will now get my head around where to put the oil relocation kit. :)

The right size K&N filter arrived and fitted perfectly. 66% extra surface area from my calculations.

Fitted a NB8B center console this week. (thanks Lou)
Looks nicer than the 8a console IMO.

Do they have a better hinge than the A one, my hinge is busted and I was wondering about swapping to a B.

Thanks mate.

Hinge seems much better, it is a little taller and wider than 8a. 2 x cup holders...

My hinge had broken and had put on a metal hinge but I think I am happier with the 8b console.

Awesome intake. If you have a template I'd love to get my hands on it.
I was looking at the ddm one at the show at lane cove. But its quite expensive.

I have a basic template for the design but I did tweak a few things when installing it but if anything I just trimmed it back a bit. Happy to lend it to you ED.
I had the pipe fabricated at a Stainless shop in Brookvale, so can give you specs for that as well if it helps.
You should have looked further down the row of cars as my car was there.

Had the SE Mid pipe with new Cat installed today. Very happy with the result. The Arse Dyno says very good improve but the sound is also a nice note and no droning.
The test will come in a couple of weeks at Wakefield.

Are you still looking at replacing the intake pipe with a larger diameter?

Did the exhaust change make a difference to the mid-range, for better or worse?

Not sure yet on the intake. Can see pluses and minuses.
The exhaust is an improvement to mid range torque for sure. A good improvement from 2-3500 rpm.
